Perched rabbit sculpture, completed 2024.
Hand-built in stoneware clay as part of the FLORA/FAUNA series exhibited at the Cardondale Clay Center, Carbondale, CO. Featuring stylized fur texture and floral sprigs, the surface is finished with a layered blue gradient spray paint, intentionally bypassing traditional glazing in favor of a more immediate, intuitive approach.
Each piece reflects an exploration of instinct, memory, and playful disruption—balancing delicacy with surface interruption and organic form with contemporary gesture.
